Creation of physical prototypes
Nothing is better than a physical model to help improving the final appearance of an object or an arrangement ; it gives a global and immediate view, which like all images is worth a thousand words.
A physical model is necessary when you wish to :
We use numerical control machines to make physical models with precise dimensions from a virtual model. This is very useful for calibrating a simulation or assuring a clean and quick aspect model. When needed, the physical model can be made functional if a dynamic is needed, making it a prototype.
A functional prototype is the final step in demonstrating the feasibility of a concept.
