Underneath its inoffensive appearance, Mélobosis is an extreme subwoofer with a phenomenal power. Its objective is to support the diffusion of bass frequencies for a firm and powerful sound reproduction in the first octaves.
Its energy will shake you!
The subwoofer Mélobosis is made up of a single element and efficiently accompanies the speaker systems Alecto and Occyrhoe.
The lips of the intersection of the cone and the casing are crude and unblended in order to avoid the dispersion of the front of the wave when it reaches the open space. |

Description of the casing
This subwoofer is made by moulded ceramic.
This subwoofer could be integrated into a piece of furniture in order to camouflage it.

The double cone body is equipped with two speakers of 38 cm loaded in a closed space and exiting near the bottom. |
Technical characteristics
Mélobosis was conceived with the objective of obtaining an increased sound level in the first octaves with a very high dynamic and power holding.
The choice was thus oriented towards using two 460-mm diameter speakers loaded by a large-volume bass-reflex speaker.

Acoustic characteristics
The range of frequencies reproduced by Mélobosis make it omnidirectional.
For the lowest frequencies, the drag depends of the architecture of the listening space, so the diagram of this characteristic cannot be generalized.
